Autumn colour without a single pumpkin in it. Orange roses and smaller orange spray roses sit high through the middle, ringed by magenta asters, red and hot pink carnations, and pinches of green button poms that keep the warm tones from blurring into one another, all gathered low into a clear glass urn. Bright rather than rustic, which is why it works for a birthday or a new job in October as readily as it works on a Thanksgiving table. Carnations and asters are two of the longest-lasting things we buy, so this one holds its shape for a week and a half with a water change.

Every arrangement is made by hand, as close to the photo as the season allows. Flowers are grown, not manufactured, so exact stems, colours, and containers can vary with what arrives fresh that week — when something isn’t available we substitute a bloom of equal or greater value and keep the look and feel of the design. Freshness is guaranteed.
